Faros is legally represented by Paweł Paradysz (me, I). In the following, "Faros" means the
representative natural entity "Paweł Paradysz" by which the software was developed.
Overview
Your email is collected for keeping your account, e.g. sending password reset links, and in case of signing
in with Google or other providers to e.g. prevent having one account with Google Sign-In and another with
gmail address and password. Cookies are only set when you log in and used to keep the information of who is
logged in. No data is shared with, and in particular not sold to, external parties.
On sign-up: Email address
If you contact me by email: Name connected with the email account - as part of the message.
If you wish me to delete your message after reading it, please indicate it in the message.
While using the extension information about your saves:
Page URL & title
Timestamp
Highlighted text
Get automatically uploaded to the server.
Security
It is your responsibility not to save sensitive information e.g. your passwords as a part of a highlight.
When
you delete your save all information about it gets deleted from the server - a copy remains only on your
computer to provide undo functionality.
Children
I do not knowingly collect, maintain, or use Personal Information from children under 13 years of age, and no part
of the Service is directed to children under the age of 13. If you learn that your child has provided me with personal
information without your consent, then you may alert me a
[email protected]. If I learn that I have collected
any Personal Information from children under 13, it will be promptly deleted.
